About the area
Kekesteto. A holiday resort developed at Hungary's highest point. The State medical institution, holiday resorts, a meterologic station, and television tower were developed in the area around the peak. A stone memorial painted in the national colors stands near the peak, which is 1014.1 high. This is Hungary's highest point. In the winter, the ski courses provide wonderful sporting opportunities.
